The Dits have resumed musical exploration after a too long hiatus. Once again Scott C. Lucas leads as they plumb the depths of rock improvisation in the Mattcave Normal,IL. The Dits seek to create new compositions based on the creative interaction of the performers with no previous design or plan to guide them literally pulling this music from within. This is the first set of recordings with new member Dan Meyer (former bassist with Von Frickle). This album was recorded on Sunday June 13,2010 and is the beginning of a new era of improvisational mayhem. This album is very different from previous releases due to new technology both in recording and instruments. The revised lineup has resulted in a more organic and rhythmic interaction that we find very exciting. We look forward to producing some scintillating new material with this trio. We hope you enjoy listening to it as much as we did making it. - Matt
